selva asked: hey, slow down, don't do anything irrational. deleting your blog won't do anybody any good. people streaming hate at you is part of the burden we bare in being vigilante in this community. not everyone will understand or receive us well, and many will target us as their enemy, but there are those who align with us and rely on us to continue doing what we do. stay strong.
I’m not deleting just yet, I’m just taking a break and focusing on more productive things right now. I might go back to it, but being bombarded by the opinions of 7k+ people on the daily has made tumblr not-so-fun, especially when those opinions are chock full of insults and accusations against me.
Honestly, I’m just really fucking tired. It’s been 2+ years of getting shit from absolute strangers. It’s been wearing on me a lot more lately, and it doesn’t help that my actual name is attached to that account. I feel like a have a constant bulls-eye on my back.
I’ve had this account as a back-up for a while, so I’ll probably just be posting from here for a while. I’ll figure out what to do with my other account later. I just need a break, at the very least.
